Timber Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. A short tour to Summit Spring is always worthwhile, and on a perfect day you can take a hike along the Crooked Tree Trail. This lake is so wonderful. The Bonnie View Trail is a great hiking trail in close proximity to Timber Lake; camping at Mill Valley Campground is always a nice experience. A great deal of rainfall falls at Timber Lake; the month of January is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month is July. Timber Lake is located in the Klamath Mountains. Yeah, come up here to the Klamath Mountains for a perfect time. While you're here at Timber Lake you can take a hike along the Milk Ranch Trail, and if you need a place to stay Super 8 Motel - Upper
Lake is a good choice. Be careful coming to the Klamath Mountains, you might not ever want to go back home again. During your spree to Timber Lake you'll meet some people from Clearlake for sure, and Stony Creek has a nice whitewater
paddling spot close by. This lake is so wonderful. Paddling on Eel River is so much fun.
Summertime at Timber Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 90's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 50's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Timber Lake.
