I think it's overstated but the fishing can be inviting, for there are massive 20lb browns and 15+ rainbows in the lake and are native.. Do whatch out for tweekers, for they are everywhere, give them a smoke and a beer, and they will bait your hook.Have a great visit to our lake...

    Tiger Creek Reservoir is a lake worth visiting. There's so much to do here at Tiger Creek Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Silver Mountain Park is a fine spot for that, and in case you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Mokelumne River - North Fork. If you came to camp Sierra Recreation Managers is a good location to do that; obviously Antelope Creek flows through this region. High temperatures at Tiger  
   Creek Reservoir during the long summer days are in the 90's with overnight lows in the 50's. For the period of the wintertime the highs are typically in the 50's, and night lows at Tiger Creek Reservoir through the wintertime generally fall into the 30's.
; the wettest month of the year is frequently January, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month of the year is August. Tiger Creek Reservoir is a beautiful lake in the Northern Sierra Nevada.
