Lakes are such peaceful places, why not visit Borax Lake right next door to Thurston Lake, and after a long day outdoors Travelodge is a delightful spot to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Manning Flat is a magnificent place to stretch your legs a bit; if you came for an overnight stay Austin's Campground and Marina is a fine location to camp. annual rainfall here at Thurston Lake is about average; of all the months in a year January is the one with the most rain, and July is the month with the least moisture. You'll in fact wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the
amusing things in the Klamath Mountains. Get your heart beating on the pleasant whitewater of Little Sulphur Creek. That right there is lots of amusing things already but it goes on, the Klamath Mountains has it all. Visit Thurston
Creek since you're here at Thurston Lake, and you'll come across a scenic lake called Snows Lake.
This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is great here at Thurston Lake, you can go for a hike along the Cadd Fire Trail, and one
of the overriding features of the surroundings of Thurston Lake is Roundtop Mountain. All through the days of summer at Thurston Lake highs are mostly in the 90's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Highs all
through the wintertime are regularly in the 50's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Thurston Lake. Thurston Lake is one of the lakes here in the Klamath Mountains.
While staying at Thurston Lake you could always explore Grigsby Draw; Lake Escape Resort is a great location to get some rest.
