    If you are in this part of California make sure to pay a visit to Thompson Lake. All through the summer months highs here at Thompson Lake reach the 80's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Thompson Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Bailey Creek Cottages is a pleasant place to get some rest. You ought to unquestionably dedicate some time to Cedar Flat if you're  
   here at Thompson Lake; there's pleasant hiking along the Yellow Creek Trail.
That right there is a lot already, but it continues; Thompson Lake has it all. If you came to camp Bucks Lodge Campground is a pleasant spot to do that, and soar down the rapids of Feather River - North Fork in a kayak.                to do here at Thompson Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Sundew Campground is a brilliant spot for that. A common amount of rainfall falls here at Thompson Lake; January is the wettest month with most snow, and the driest month of the year is July.
While you're here at Thompson Lake, you could also have a look at wonderful Bucks Lake; why not stop by Haskins Bay also while you're here. Having a nice time in the Northern Sierra Nevada is easy. There's some flowing water close by, Haskins Creek is a stream you can explore while here; there are great sites to look at along the Cleghorn Bar Trail. Thompson Lake is a beautiful lake in the Northern Sierra Nevada.
This lake is so wonderful. A nice location close to Thompson Lake is Haskins Valley; don't leave Thompson Lake without first going for a hike along the Claremont Trail.

Cool Springs Campground is owned by PG&E and managed by American Land and Leisure (AL&L). You may contact AL&L, at 530-284-1785, from May to October. No reservations are taken for camping. Cool Springs is generally open from early May through mid-September. The heaviest use is between mid-June through mid-August. Butt Lake is a great fishing lake. Motorboats are allowed but no skiing or jet skis. There is a nice rock\sand beach for playing....
