If you are in San Bernardino county it's always a good idea to stop by Thirteenth Street Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the West Fork Trail is great fun, and camping at Samoa Village Mobile Home Ests is always a good experience. Thirteenth Street Reservoir is pretty arid ordinarily; during February this area sees the most rain, and July is when it's the driest. | | Course, and obviously, this is a perfect neighborhood for folks who like lakes, Lake los Serranos is a lake around here.
What a site this is for outdoors folks. Really nice skiing awaits you at Mt. Baldy, and going for a hike along the Fern Canyon Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. And that's not everything there is to do here in the San Gabriel Mountains. The good people of Los Angeles-Long Beach-Santa Ana like to hang out nearby; if the weather is glorious, you can
go for a hike along the Ontario Peak Trail. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Ontario-Days Inn Airport is a nice spot to spend a night or two, and camping is available at Crystal Lake - Angeles National Forest.
This lake is one of the great places here in the San Gabriel Mountains.
Throughout the long summer days at Thirteenth Street Reservoir highs are frequently in the 90's, and the nighttime is a bit colder of course, usually in the
50's. For the period of the wintertime highs are mostly in the 60's; night lows in the 40's for Thirteenth Street Reservoir. Mountain High has perfect slopes and a friendly staff, and probably you're looking for nearby lakes? Sure, Ontario Reservoir Number 1 is just a very short distance away.
