Swamps like Tulare Swamp are fun to stop by, and good hiking is available along the Pacific Crest Trail - section 11. Go for a hike on the Mount Whitney Trail, and it's a good idea to visit Thibaut Creek. Yep, outdoors fun stuff to do are truly bountiful here at Thibaut Ponds. Goose Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop at; if you need a location to stay Comfort Inn Lone Pine is a splendid       choice. Thibaut Ponds is a great location to visit for more than one day, Sawmill Creek Campground is a great location to camp nearby, and this is a popular place for folks from Bishop.
