If you like lakes and you're in this part of California you can check out Ten Lakes. Ten Lakes sees pretty high levels of precipitation; the month with most of the rain is January, and July on the other hand is the driest. Tuolumne River is a great whitewater spot in the vicinity of Ten Lakes, and The Ahwahnee is a magnificent spot to get some rest. Whohoo, so many cool things in one place! The Central Sierra Nevada rocks! Why not take a refreshing hike along

| | the Tenaya Lake And Tuolumne Meadows Trail, and if you came for an overnight stay Tenaya Lake Campground is a nice spot to camp.
At Ten Lakes through the days of summer highs are in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 40's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Ten Lakes temperatures dip to the 20's. This lake is one of the great places here in the Central Sierra Nevada. | |

This lake is so wonderful. The Ten Lakes Trail offers hiking at its best, and in the event that you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Tenaya Creek.
You just can't picture the amount of
outdoors cool things the Central Sierra Nevada has to offer. Places like Halfmoon Meadow are wonderful to go to, and Colby Mountain is stunning and can be made out from here. This lake is so wonderful. The slopes of Badger Pass are
so inviting noone can resist; if you're looking for a tremendous spree, Yosemite National Park is quite near.
Ten Lakes is right by the John Muir Trail - section 1, and Porcupine Flat Campground is a great campground nearby. There's
just no way somebody can get bored here at Ten Lakes. Ten Lakes Pass is a brilliant spot to go to close by, and after a long day outdoors dnc -- Wawona Hotel is a good site to spend a night or two.
