Lakes are such calm sites, why not stop by Grant Lakes close to Ten Lakes, and going for a hike along the John Muir Trail - section 1 will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity. These mountains rock, just check out all the amusing stuff to do in the Central Sierra Nevada. You'll hit upon a scenic lake called Wegner Lake near Ten Lakes, and camping is available       at Tenaya Lake Campground. Badger Pass is a very popular ski area nearby; if you're looking for a magnificent journey, Yosemite National Park is relatively near. If you have a thing about the outdoors, you'll love Ten Lakes. Ten Lakes is right next door to Ten Lakes Pass which is certainly worth going to, and The Ahwahnee is a delightful location to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Ten Lakes is right by the Ten Lakes Trail; dry warm beds await you                  at dnc -- Wawona Hotel. Hiking along the Tenaya Lake And Tuolumne Meadows Trail is wonderful fun, and Colby Mountain is lovely and can be seen from here. There's whitewater on Tuolumne River for all you adrenaline junkies, and why not camp at Porcupine Flat Campground if you're here at Ten Lakes. Ten Lakes gets a good deal of water; the month of January is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest of the months is July. So much fun stuff to do here at Ten Lakes, too magnificent to be true. During the days of summer here at Ten Lakes, high temperatures generally reach the 80's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. Highs during the wintertime are ordinarily in the 40's, and night lows in the 20's for Ten Lakes. If you want a nice time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Central Sierra Nevada.
