     Ten Lakes is a nice lake to visit. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Central Sierra Nevada. Don't leave Ten Lakes without first going for a hike along the Ten Lakes Trail, and Grant Lakes is a nearby lake that you could take a look at. There's just no way anyone can get bored here at Ten Lakes. At Ten Lakes you can catch a glimpse of Colby Mountain, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Tenaya Creek.
Ten Lakes is a beautiful lake in the Central Sierra
 
   Nevada. Ten Lakes is a pretty wet place usually with a lot of precipitation; through the month of January you get the most rain around here, and the driest month is July. This lake is so wonderful. Places like Halfmoon Meadow are delightful to take a look at; there's great hiking along the Tenaya Lake And Tuolumne Meadows Trail.
Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Ten Lakes; during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. High temperatures through
 
               the wintertime are normally in the 40's, and night lows at Ten Lakes all through the winter mostly fall into the 20's. But wait, there's more exciting stuff to do in the Central Sierra Nevada. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Ten Lakes; John Muir Trail - section 1 is a nice local trail, and dry warm beds await you at dnc -- Wawona Hotel. If time allows, Yosemite National Park is a national park worth checking out, and if you get bored of Ten Lakes you could also stop at nearby Wegner Lake.
Any time is a perfect time at Ten Lakes if you have a thing about the outdoors. Why not camp at Porcupine Flat Campground while you're here at Ten Lakes, and get wet paddling on Tuolumne River. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors The Ahwahnee is a wonderful place to spend a night or two, and close by you discover Ten Lakes Pass which is a pleasant place to pop by. A perfect place to camp here at Ten Lakes is Tenaya Lake Campground, and everyone nearby loves skiing at Badger Pass.
