Lakes are such serene sites, why not stop at Oma 6 300 Reservoir in close proximity to Teal Pond; close by you stumble on the Nevada Point Trail which is a nice hiking trail. You can take a little trip to Chili Bar Reservoir since you're here at Teal Pond. There's so much to do here at Teal Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Gerle Creek - Eldorado National Forest is a tremendous site for that. This lake is       so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Placerville Inn, and going for a hike on the Bake Oven Trail is always a glorious adventure. You'll in fact wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool stuff in the Northern Sierra Nevada. A pretty lake like Depot Lake near Teal Pond is a nice site to go to. This lake is located in the wonderful Northern Sierra Nevada. From a rain point of view Teal Pond is a relatively common place; January                  is when you get the most rain here; July is the month with the least moisture. The warmest time of the year at Teal Pond comes with high temperatures in the 90's while night lows are typically in the 60's. During the wintertime the highs are mostly in the 50's while the cold winter nights at Teal Pond are in the 30's. That right there is plenty of fun stuff already but it goes on, the Northern Sierra Nevada has it all. If you need a spot to stay Lexington Historic Cary House Hotel is a wonderful choice.
