SEAN GIBBONS: I WALKED FROM MAIN ROAD TO TRAILHEAD ON 4-22-09. HEAVY SNOW DRIFTS, TRAILHEAD IS UNDER ABOUT 48'' OF FROZEN SNOW. NOT RECOMMENDED TO HIKE ALONE, YOU WILL SINK A DOZEN TIMES OR SO UP TO YOUR WAIST! I CHICKENED OT ABOUT 1/2 WAY UP THE TRAIL I COULDN'T SEE UNDERNEATH THE SNOW AND BOULDERS. I BET THE FISHING IS RIGHT ON!
