Go to The Tarn if you want to go to a nice lake. This lake is so wonderful. A day on the slopes of Snow Summit is just what you need; a great nearby hotel is Best Western Big Bear Lake Chateau. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors amusing things the area in the vicinity of The Tarn has to offer. A delightful sight of wonderful Galena Peak is available from The Tarn, and camping at Falls Recreation Area is always a good experience. Don't leave The Tarn

| | without first going for a hike along the North Fork Meadows Trail, and there are plenty of people from Riverside-San Bernardino-Ontario here. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at The Tarn, you could also visit beautiful Dry Lake, and a glorious place to camp here at The Tarn is Mission Springs Campground. It's always nice to go to Lodgepole Spring, and Dollar Lake is a nearby lake that you could check out. Yep, outdoors cool stuff truly is plentiful | |

here in the San Bernardino Mountains. There's delightful hiking along the Dry Lake Trail, and a pleasant spree to North Fork Meadows is a magnificent way to spend an afternoon. The skiing at Bear Mountain is splendid; hiking is
a popular thing to do around The Tarn; Fish Creek Trail is a glorious local trail. If you want a good time in the great outdoors just come on up to the San Bernardino Mountains. Big Bear Lake Cabins is a brilliant spot to get some
rest, and a nice site nearby is Mill Creek Jumpoff. And that's not all you can do here at The Tarn. The San Bernardino Mountains scenery is always beautiful. The amount of precipitation that falls at The Tarn is close to the national
average; the month with most of the rain is January, and June is the month with the least moisture. Through the warm months here at The Tarn, high temperatures frequently get into the 80's. Through the moonlight hours it's mostly
in the 50's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 40's, and nighttime lows through the winter for The Tarn tend to be in the 20's.
