Found Lake is a wonderful lake near Tapie Lake, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Trinity River. All the outdoors enjoyable things in the neighborhood of Tapie Lake will keep you coming back over and over. The panoramas at Whiskeytown National Recreation Area will blow your mind, and camping is available at Goldfish Campground. Just can't get enough of the Klamath Mountains. are some nice whitewater spots on Coffee Creek; why not take a refreshing hike along the Deacon Lee Trail. Tapie Lake gets a typical amount of rainfall; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily December, that's the one that rains the most while July is typically the driest month.
