Get dripping wet paddling on Coffee Creek, and there's perfect hiking along the Deacon Lee Trail. Tangle Blue Lake is pretty dehydrated typically; the month with most of the rain is December, and the driest of the months is July. For the period of the long summer days at Tangle Blue Lake highs are mostly in the 90's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 40's. The       winter comes with highs in the 40's while Tangle Blue Lake overnight low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Tangle Blue Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Scott Mountain Campground is a great place for that, and paddling on Trinity River is so much fun.
