In California there are many beautiful lakes, Tamarack Lakes is one of them. Tamarack Lakes is located in the Northern Sierra Nevada. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a site to stay Chalet View Lodge is a magnificent choice, and you don’t have to go far from Tamarack Lakes to spot the water at Packer Dam. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Lavezzola Creek, and dry warm beds await you at Chalet View Lodge.

An average amount of rain falls at Tamarack Lakes; the month of January is the wettest with most of the rain, and July is the month with the least moisture. nice site to pop by in the vicinity of Tamarack Lakes, and if you come at the right time of year, Yuba River - North Fork offers some good whitewater. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Pacific Crest Trail - section 15. There's
so much to do here at Tamarack Lakes that you need to camp here for a while, Berger Campground is a great place for that.
