If you need a site to stay Chalet View Lodge is a magnificent choice, and you don’t have to go far from Tamarack Lakes to spot the water at Packer Dam. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Lavezzola Creek, and dry warm beds await you at Chalet View Lodge.       This lake is so wonderful. The Deer Lake Trail offers hiking at its best; delightful skiing awaits you at Royal Gorge. An average amount of rain falls at Tamarack Lakes; the month of January is the wettest with most of the rain, and July is the month with the least moisture. All the outdoors amusing stuff in the Northern Sierra Nevada will keep you coming back persistently. Take a hike on the Butcher Ranch Trail.
