Tamarack Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. Just can't get enough of the Central Sierra Nevada. Not far from Tamarack Lake, you'll come across West Lake which is a gorgeous lake; if the weather is great, you can go for a hike along the Pacific Crest Trail - section 12. | | Lakes Trail is a tremendous hiking trail nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are great; Hunewill Lake is a lake that's in the neighborhood of Tamarack Lake, and if you came to camp Doc and Al's Robinson Creek Resort is a brilliant spot to do that. And if that's not enough there's loads more exciting stuff to do in the Central Sierra Nevada. choice. This lake is one of the great places here in the Central Sierra Nevada. There's so much to do here at Tamarack Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Paho Campground is a pleasant place for that, and Heidelberg Inn
is a good place to get some rest. During the summertime months highs here at Tamarack Lake get into the 80's. Summer overnight lows fall down to the 30's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's; all through the dark hours in
the winter at Tamarack Lake temperatures dip to the 0's. It is very dehydrated here at Tamarack Lake mostly; all through the month of January you get the most snow around here, and the driest month is October.
