Whitewater paddling is tremendous on Silver Creek - South Fork; Indian Rock is an out of the ordinary place to take a look at while at Tamarack Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Pine Cone Acre Motel is a splendid spot to get some rest. Tamarack Lake is located in the Northern Sierra Nevada. A day at Baldwin Beach in close proximity to Tamarack Lake is time well spent, and there's great hiking along the General Creek Trail. Yeah,       come up here to the Northern Sierra Nevada for a wonderful time. Looking for something in the vicinity of Tamarack Lake? Cagwin Lake is around here; you can stay the night at Sayles Flat Campground. Be careful coming to the Northern Sierra Nevada, you might not ever wanna go home again. Echo Peak is uncomplicated to spot from Tamarack Lake, and a round of golf at nearby Tahoe Paradise Golf Course is a good way to kill some time. This lake is so wonderful. During your stay at Tamarack Lake do visit nearby Kiva Beach; after a long day outdoors Pistantes Coyote Den is a magnificent site to spend a night or two. Tamarack Lake is not the only place close by, Ralston Lake is a close by lake; wonderful hiking is available along the Hawley Grade Trail. There's just no way anybody can get bored here at Tamarack Lake. A day on the slopes of Sierra at Tahoe is just what you need, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Tamarack Lake; Windmiller Trail is a splendid local trail. That right there is a heap of entertaining stuff already but it goes on, the Northern Sierra Nevada has it all. Everybody loves Haypress Meadows, and Tamarack Lake is a brilliant location to visit for more than one day, Fortyfive Mile Campground is a brilliant location to camp nearby. During your visit to Tamarack Lake you'll meet some folks from Gardnerville Ranchos for sure; in case you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on American River - South Fork. The amount of rainfall that falls at Tamarack Lake is close to the national average; during January this area sees the most snow, and the driest of the months is July. Through the summer at Tamarack Lake temperatures are commonly in the 70's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 40's.
