Sierra at Tahoe has delightful slopes and a friendly staff; float down the rapids of American River - South Fork in a kayak. Bayview Campground is a great campground nearby; unsurprisingly, this is a great vicinity for folks who like lakes, Gilmore Lake is a lake nearby. So much cool stuff in the Northern Sierra Nevada, just unbelievable. Maggies Peaks is clearly visible from Tallac Lake, and Tallac Lake is a tremendous       spot to visit for more than one day, Eagle Falls Campground is a tremendous spot to camp nearby. Tallac Lake is located in the Northern Sierra Nevada. After a long day outdoors Pistantes Coyote Den is a wonderful spot to spend a night or two; don't leave Tallac Lake without first going for a hike along the Pacific Crest Trail - section 14. And that's not all the things you can do here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Pine Cone Acre Motel is a good place to                  get some rest, and in all probability you're looking for close by lakes? Sure, Snow Lake is just a very short distance away. High temperatures at Tallac Lake during the summer are in the 70's with overnight lows in the 40's. All through the winter highs are commonly in the 40's, and throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at Tallac Lake temperatures sink to the 10's. This place, Tallac Lake, it simply has so much outdoors fun stuff. If you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Tahoe Paradise Golf Course is close at hand; you can go for a hike on the Hawley Grade Trail. Tallac Lake gets a typical amount of yearly rain; January is the wettest month with most snow; the driest month of the year is July. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the General Creek Trail is always a splendid adventure, and a fine beach close by is Baldwin Beach. If you come at the right time of year, Silver Creek - South Fork offers some great whitewater; beaches are tremendous and Kiva Beach is no exception. This lake is so wonderful. Hit the slopes at Homewood in close proximity, and Tallac Lake is near Dicks Pass which is beyond doubt worth a visit. Just can't get enough of the Northern Sierra Nevada.
