     Lake Talawa is a nice lake to visit. You'll in fact wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool things in the Coast Ranges. Lakes are such serene locations, why not explore Lake Earl next to Lake Talawa, and if you're a golfer then a delightful close by course is Kings Valley Golf Course. Lake Talawa is not far at all from Crescent City North. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Lake Talawa has to offer, you can camp at Shangri-la Trailer  
   Court. Throughout the summer months at Lake Talawa temperatures are typically in the 60's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 50's; night lows at Lake Talawa during the wintertime usually sink into the 40's.
This lake is one of the great places here in the Coast Ranges. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Lake Talawa; French Hill Trail is a nice local trail. There's so much
 
               to do here at Lake Talawa that you need to camp here for a while, Bayside RV Park is a great spot for that. That right there is a heap of fun stuff already but it goes on, the Coast Ranges has it all. There's wonderful hiking along the Paradise Trail, and Redwood National and State Parks is one of the destinations that are nice to check out close by.
No way I can stop, cause I'm havin' a great time here at Lake Talawa. This lake is so wonderful. Smith River - South Fork has a perfect whitewater paddling spot nearby; a wonderful lake like Dead Lake is a good location to take a look at. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the enjoyable things at Lake Talawa. Beaches are glorious; and Pebble Beach near Lake Talawa is no exception; a tremendous nearby hotel is Anchor Beach Inn.
The high level of rain makes Lake Talawa a quite wet place; through the month of December you get the most rain around here, and July meanwhile is the driest month. You are near Pelican Bay while you're here at Lake Talawa, and Kellogg Road Beach is a beach close by that you can have a look at. Paddling on Smith River - North Fork is so much fun; Econo Lodge Crescent City is a great site to get some rest.
