This lake is one of the great places here in the Santa Rosa Mountains. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Gomez Trail, and Riviera Oaks Resort and Racquet Club is a great place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Swan Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Los Coyotes Reservation Campground is a great local campground; do stop at Lost Lake, it's a picturesque lake. That right there is loads       of entertaining things already but it goes on, the Santa Rosa Mountains has it all. There's so much to do here at Swan Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Lake Henshaw Campgrounds is a good place for that, and a splendid close by hotel is San Vicente Resort. At Swan Lake during the months of summer highs are in the 80's. Summer overnight lows sink down to the 60's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 50's, and winter nights come with lows                  in the 30's to Swan Lake. Swan Lake gets a normal amount of annual rainfall; through the month of March you get the most rain around here, and the driest month of the year is June. You'll really wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the enjoyable stuff in the Santa Rosa Mountains. And if you're still looking for more outdoors entertaining stuff just keep reading. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Swan Lake; Aguanga Trail is a perfect local trail, and a wonderful lake like Big Lake is a pleasant spot to stop at.
