Dry warm beds await you at The Meadow, and float down the rapids of Mokelumne River - North Fork in a kayak. The Emigrant Trail is a great hiking trail near Summit Meadow Lake; you can stay the night at Ferguson Point Campground. Man, is there a lot of enjoyable stuff to do near Summit Meadow Lake. There's so much to do here at Summit Meadow Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Caples Lake Campground is a glorious place for that. Lakes are tremendous; Devils Hole Lake is a lake that's close to Summit Meadow Lake. You clearly must go for the Northern Sierra Nevada.
