Summit Meadow Lake is a beautiful lake in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining things near Summit Meadow Lake. The high level of rainfall makes Summit Meadow Lake a rather wet       site; the month with most of the snow is January; July on the other hand is the driest. You'll in fact wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing things in the Northern Sierra Nevada. That right there is lots of cool stuff already but it goes on, the Northern Sierra Nevada has it all. Covered Wagon Peak is easy to spot from Summit Meadow Lake; the Emigrant Trail offers hiking at its best. A lake nearby is Beebe Lake, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Charity Valley Trail. Summertime highs at Summit Meadow Lake generally tend to be in the 70's with night lows in the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's; nighttime lows in the 10's for Summit Meadow Lake. You think that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up. A day on the slopes of Bear Valley is just what you need, and a nice close by hotel is Bear Valley Lodge. This lake is so wonderful. No need to travel far to pop by exciting stuff like Machado Postpiles, and why not head up to Kirkwood and strap some skis to your feet. This lake is so wonderful.
