    Summit Lake is a lake worth visiting. This lake is so wonderful. Summit Lake is splendid enough to spend more than a day at, Fawn Campground is a splendid local campground, and Whiskeytown National Recreation Area is a very fine place to have a look at. A striking lake like Lake Anna near Summit Lake is a brilliant place to stop at; if you come at the right time of year, Trinity River offers some great whitewater. Best Western Weaverville Victorian Inn is a great  
   location to get some rest, and if you came to camp Stoney Point Campground is a great place to do that.
But wait, there's more cool stuff to do in the Klamath Mountains. While you're here at Summit Lake you can take a hike along the Deacon Lee Trail, and after a long day outdoors Lewiston Hotel is a glorious location to spend a night or two. This lake is one of the great places here in the Klamath Mountains. Having a great time in the Klamath Mountains is
 
               painless. A visit to Black Basin revitalizes the soul, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Coffee Creek.
A common amount of precipitation falls here at Summit Lake; throughout the month of December you get the most rain around here while July is typically the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. All through the summer at Summit Lake highs are commonly in the 80's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's, and overnight lows during the winter for Summit Lake tend to be in the 20's.
So many cool things close to Summit Lake, just impressive. The peak of Gibson Peak can be spotted from Summit Lake, and a great location to take a look at close by is Deer Creek Pass.
