If you are traveling by, why not stop by Summit Lake. Summit Lake gets a large amount of water; the month of January is the wettest with most of the rain while July is usually the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. The Lola Montez Trail is a brilliant hiking trail right next door to Summit Lake; the snow is tremendous at Boreal. Now, you may assume that's plenty but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here at Summit Lake. Get your heart beating on
