In California there are many beautiful lakes, Summit Lake is one of them. But wait, there's more amusing things to do in the Klamath Mountains. Hiking along the Buttermilk Trail is great fun, and lakes are such peaceful spots, why not stop at Tule Lake. Summit Lake is a wet spot that gets a lot of precipitation; January is when you get the most rain here, and July is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. | | spend more than a day at, Oak Flat Campground is a fine local campground, and Summit Lake is right by the Elk Knob Trail.
For the period of the days of summer here at Summit Lake, high temperatures usually reach the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 50's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 50's, and nighttime lows at Summit Lake through the wintertime usually dip into the 30's. Not enough hours in a day | |

to enjoy the Klamath Mountains. Here at Summit Lake you can make out The Island; why not take a refreshing hike along the Crooked Tree Trail. A charming lake like Lily Pad Lake in close proximity to Summit Lake is a fine place to
visit, and if you need a place to stay Tallman Hotel is a pleasant choice.
This lake is so wonderful. A glorious close by hotel is Super 8 Motel - Upper Lake. This lake is located in the wonderful Klamath Mountains. Just can't
get enough of Summit Lake. Sportsman Glade is a brilliant location here at Summit Lake, and whitewater paddling is perfect on Eel River.
It's a nice idea to stop by Lookout Creek, it's next to Summit Lake. There's so much to do
here at Summit Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Pogie Point Campground is a tremendous place for that.
