Stough Reservoir is good enough to spend more than a day at, Cedar Pass Campground is a good local campground, and don't leave Stough Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Poison Flat Trail. Stough Reservoir is ordinarily a pretty waterless site; December is the wettest month with most snow; July is when it's the driest. Since you might be in a lake       visiting mood you can always explore close by Halls Meadows Reservoir, and there are great spots to look at along the Pine Creek Trail. Throughout the summer at Stough Reservoir temperatures are usually in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 40's. Through the winter highs are in the 30's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Stough Reservoir temperatures fall to the 10's. But wait, there's more cool things to do in the                  Warner Mountains. If you need a location to stay Super 8 Alturas is a glorious choice, and you obtain a tremendous sight of Bear Mountain from here. This lake is so wonderful. This is a tremendous region for people who like lakes. Porter Reservoir is a lake nearby, and needless to say, A trip to Cedar Pass is always fun. If you came to camp Stough Campground is a great site to do that, and going for a hike on the Owl Creek Trail is always a nice adventure. Stough Reservoir is located in the Warner Mountains.
