I don't want to stop, cause I'm havin' a good time here at Stony Ridge Lake. Go for a hike on the General Creek Trail, and The Truckee Hotel is a good location to get some rest. Good hiking is available along       the Red Peak Trail, and a splendid site to stop at close by is Phipps Pass. Silver Creek - South Fork has a good whitewater paddling spot close by, and Stony Ridge Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Eagle Falls Campground is a good local campground. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing stuff at Stony Ridge Lake. A glorious nearby hotel is Pine Cone Acre Motel, and on a delightful day you obtain a great view of Jakes Peak from                  Stony Ridge Lake. For the period of the days of summer at Stony Ridge Lake highs are ordinarily in the 70's, and during the night it cools down to the 40's. During the wintertime highs are commonly in the 40's; overnight lows at Stony Ridge Lake all through the wintertime regularly descend into the 10's.
