This lake is one of the great places here in the Klamath Mountains. Stay the night at North Fork Campground, and if you get bored of Stony Gorge Reservoir you could also go to nearby Dry Lake Reservoir. Stony Gorge Reservoir gets very little precipitation; January is the month that gets the most rain, and July on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful.
