Stay the night at North Fork Campground, and if you get bored of Stony Gorge Reservoir you could also go to nearby Dry Lake Reservoir. Stony Gorge Reservoir gets very little precipitation; January is the month that gets the most rain, and July on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Bonnie View Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty       of this region; in case you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Grindstone Creek. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors cool stuff the Klamath Mountains has to offer. Take a hike on the Bear Wallow Trail; Bidwell Point is painless to spot from Stony Gorge Reservoir. Stony Gorge Reservoir is a good spot to visit for more than one day, Diversion Dam Campground is a good spot to camp nearby, and you can                  have a good hiking adventure along the Trout Creek Trail. Through the summertime months here at Stony Gorge Reservoir, high temperatures frequently reach the 90's; during summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 50's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Stony Gorge Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful.
