If you like lakes and you're in this part of California you can check out Stony Gorge Reservoir. And that's not all you can do here in the Klamath Mountains. After a long day outdoors Willows-Days Inn is a great site to spend a night or two. Summertime highs at Stony Gorge Reservoir ordinarily tend to be in the 90's, and through the night it cools down to the 60's. | | 30's to Stony Gorge Reservoir. A pleasant spot to camp here at Stony Gorge Reservoir is North Fork Campground, and you can run the rapids of Stony Creek. This lake is so wonderful. There is a tremendous hiking trail near Stony Gorge Reservoir called the Bonnie View Trail, and at Stony Gorge Reservoir you can make out Bidwell Point. what a great earth it would be. Getting to Briscoe Creek from Stony Gorge Reservoir is trouble-free, and on a good day you can take a hike along the Bear Wallow Trail. Around Stony Gorge Reservoir you don’t get a lot of rainfall;
the wettest month of the year is usually January, that's the one that rains the most, and July is when it's the driest. So many enjoyable things in the Klamath Mountains, just incredible. Stony Gorge Reservoir is great enough to
spend more than a day at, Diversion Dam Campground is a great local campground; Grindstone Creek is a great whitewater spot close by. Stony Gorge Reservoir is close to Stony Gorge Dam which is a pretty place unquestionably worth going to, and the Trout Creek Trail is a great hiking trail nearby.
