    It's always fun to stop by Stone Reservoir. Stone Reservoir gets a normal amount of annual rain; the month of January is the wettest with most of the rain; July on the other hand is the driest. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop by nearby Colton Recreation Lake, and Bloomington Mobile Home Park is a great local campground. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Econo Lodge Fontana is a great choice.

   so wonderful. What would winter be without some skiing at Mountain High. Lakes are great; Lost Lake is a lake that's in close proximity to Stone Reservoir. Yep, outdoors fun things truly is plentiful here in the San Gabriel Mountains. The slopes of Mt. Baldy are so inviting nobody can resist, and why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Sierra Lakes Golf Course. There's just no way anyone can get bored here at Stone Reservoir. If the weather  
               is great here at Stone Reservoir, you can go for a hike along the Cucamonga Peak Trail, and Mountain Streams RV Park is a splendid campground nearby.
If you want a splendid time in the great outdoors just come on up to the San Gabriel Mountains. There is a pleasant hiking trail near Stone Reservoir called the Ontario Peak Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Fontana. The Cable Canyon Trail is a glorious hiking trail next to Stone Reservoir; nearby you stumble on great spots like San Sevaine Canyon. Through the months of summer, highs generally are in the 90's at Stone Reservoir. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 60's, and night lows through the winter for Stone Reservoir tend to be in the 40's.
The San Gabriel Mountains scenery is always beautiful.
