Dry Lagoon is in close proximity; a glorious location to camp here at Stone Lagoon is Agate Campground. All the water falling down from the sky makes Stone Lagoon a wet place; December is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month of the year is July. High temperatures at Stone Lagoon throughout the       warm days of summer are in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 40's. During the wintertime the highs are commonly in the 50's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Stone Lagoon. This lake is so wonderful. Do schedule some time to pop by Lookout Point in close proximity to Stone Lagoon if you have a chance; going for a hike along the Elk Prairie Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area.
