Go to Stone Lagoon if you want to go to a nice lake. So many exciting things to do here in the Coast Ranges, too perfect to be true. There's whitewater on Redwood Creek for all you adrenaline junkies, and camping is available at Redwood Trails. Get your pulse rate up on the fine whitewater of Klamath River, and Emerald Forest Of Trinidad is a good location to get some rest. Man, is there heaps of enjoyable things to do in the Coast Ranges. | | neighborhood for folks who like lakes. Dry Lagoon is a lake around here; hiking along the Elk Prairie Trail is perfect fun. This lake is so wonderful. Lookout Point is next to Stone Lagoon and is a nice site to visit, and why not camp at Agate Campground since you're here at Stone Lagoon. A day at pretty Agate Beach in close proximity to Stone Lagoon is a fine thing to do; Stone Lagoon is right by the Rim Trail. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this | |

spot. Some close by water includes McDonald Creek, and after a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Arcata/Eureka-Arpt Area (Mckin is a perfect site to spend a night or two. Stone Lagoon is located in the Coast Ranges.
This lake is so wonderful. If you're keen on cool geologic characteristics, try Freshwater Rocks, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Agate Beach Trail. The warmest time of the year at Stone Lagoon comes with high temperatures
in the 70's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 50's while Stone Lagoon overnight low temperatures throughout the wintertime are in the 30's. The high level
of rainfall makes Stone Lagoon a pretty wet site; all through December this area sees the most rain while July is typically the driest month.
