On a pleasant day at Stone Canyon Reservoir you can take a hike along the Oak Spring Trail, and Santa Monica State Beach is a lovely beach to take a look at. The Dagger Flat Trail is a nice hiking trail in the vicinity of Stone Canyon Reservoir, and a nice place to explore       is Benedict Canyon. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Vicabob Trailer Village is a magnificent spot to camp; why not head up to Mt Waterman and strap some skis to your feet. If you get bored of Stone Canyon Reservoir, you could also explore nearby Upper Stone Canyon Reservoir, and Hotel Angeleno is a great place to get some rest. That right there is plenty already, but it carries on; Stone Canyon Reservoir has it all. If you're                  a golfer then a glorious close by course is Studio City Golf Course, and after a long day outdoors Luxe Summit Hotel Belair (Le) is a great location to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. A lake nearby is Franklin Canyon Reservoir, and Birmingham Trailer Village is a good campground nearby. Around Stone Canyon Reservoir you don’t get a lot of rain; January is the wettest month with most rain; the driest month is July. There is a good hiking trail near Stone Canyon Reservoir called the Gold Canyon Trail. Summertime at Stone Canyon Reservoir arrives with high temperatures in the 90's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's.
