But wait, there's more fun stuff to do in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Don't leave Stevens Lake without first going for a hike along the Pacific Crest Trail - section 13, and Indian Creek Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could stop by. Stevens Lake is a beautiful lake in the Northern Sierra Nevada. For the period of the warm months highs here at Stevens Lake reach the 70's. Summer overnight lows sink down to the 40's. For       the period of the wintertime the highs are usually in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Stevens Lake. Kirkwood is a splendid local ski area. A great close by hotel is Best Western Minden Inn, and the skiing at Heavenly is glorious. This is no location for people who don’t like to have a good time. Camping at Turtle Rock Campgrounds is always a tremendous experience, and if you get bored of Stevens Lake you could also take a look at close                  by Summit Lake. Stevens Lake gets very little rain; January is the month that gets the most snow while July is ordinarily the driest month. Go for a hike on the Charity Valley Trail, and if you're here, you might as well explore Diamond Valley. Having a great time in the Northern Sierra Nevada is trouble-free. Going for a hike on the Burnside Lake Trail is always a good adventure, and if you came to camp Indian Creek Campground is a magnificent location to do that. This lake is so wonderful. Randall Creek is a magnificent local stream, and Stevens Lake is not far at all from Gardnerville Ranchos. This lake is so wonderful.
