Many people like to go to Stevens Lake. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Northern Sierra Nevada. You can run the rapids of Carson River - East Fork in the neighborhood of Stevens Lake, and if you came for an overnight stay Turtle Rock Campgrounds is a fine spot to camp. At Stevens Lake you don’t see much rain; the wettest month of the year is frequently January, that's the one that snows the most while July is commonly the driest month. During the long summer

| | days at Stevens Lake highs are typically in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 40's. For the period of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Stevens Lake plunge into the 10's.
This lake is so wonderful. Lots of people from Gardnerville Ranchos come to Stevens Lake, and why not camp at Indian Creek Campground while you're here at Stevens Lake. This lake is so wonderful. | |

Best Western Minden Inn is a great spot to get some rest, and unsurprisingly, this is a glorious vicinity for folks who like lakes, Curtz Lake is a lake in close proximity. So many cool things to do at Stevens Lake, so little time.
What would winter be without some skiing at Heavenly; if you desire a little side spree, try Diamond Valley.
Going for a hike along the Burnside Lake Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region; a great close by
hotel is Carson Valley Inn Motor Lodge. But wait, there's more fun things to do in the Northern Sierra Nevada. On a nice day at Stevens Lake you can take a hike along the Pacific Crest Trail - section 13, and some of the water nearby
flows, like Randall Creek.
Stevens Lake is a beautiful lake in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Very gorgeous scenery and delightful skiing is what you get at Kirkwood, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Charity Valley Trail.
