This lake is so wonderful. Steamboat Lake is brilliant enough to spend more than a day at, Yreka RV Park is a brilliant local campground. At Steamboat Lake you don’t see much rainfall; through the month of December you get the most rain around here, and July is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful.       A wonderful lake like Bass Lake right next door to Steamboat Lake is a fine place to stop by, and a great panorama of stunning Steamboat Mountain is available. You can run the rapids of Shasta River near Steamboat Lake; why not take a refreshing hike along the Bear Creek Trail. And if you're still looking for more outdoors fun things just keep reading. A tremendous site for whitewater paddling in the vicinity of Steamboat Lake is Jenny Creek. There's so                  much to do here at Steamboat Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Cove Mobile Villa is a great place for that. After a long day outdoors Super 8 Yreka is a fine place to spend a night or two, and do take a hike on the Clear Creek Trail.
