This lake is one of the great places here in the Central Sierra Nevada. Camping is available at Upper Pines Campground, and most likely you're looking for nearby lakes? Sure, Emerald Pool is just a very short distance away. A great close by hotel is dnc -- Wawona Hotel, and going for a hike on the Mist Trail is always a perfect adventure. A good deal of rain falls at Starr King Lake; throughout January this area sees the       most rain, and July is when it's the driest. This location, the Central Sierra Nevada, has so much outdoors fun things. On a delightful day you get a panorama of Mount Broderick from Starr King Lake, of course you could also have a look at Lost Lake while you're here; it's not far at all. Whohoo, so much enjoyable stuff in one place! Starr King Lake is unbeatable! Near Starr King Lake you discover the Clouds Rest Trail which is a pleasant hiking trail; you                  can run the rapids of Tenaya Creek. So many enjoyable things to do in the Central Sierra Nevada, not sufficient time. Do pay a visit to Yosemite National Park if you're here at Starr King Lake. Do set aside some time for Starr King Meadow since you're here at Starr King Lake, and Badger Pass has brilliant slopes and a friendly staff. All the outdoors amusing stuff next to Starr King Lake will keep you coming back persistently. There's some flowing water nearby, Sunrise Creek is a stream you can explore while you're here, and a brilliant location for whitewater paddling is Yosemite Creek. If you need a location to stay The Ahwahnee is a fine choice, and no need to travel far to check out attention-grabbing stuff like Cascade Cliffs. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay North Pines Campground is a tremendous location to camp, and there is a tremendous hiking trail nearby called the Half Dome Trail. During the warm days of summer at Starr King Lake temperatures are usually in the 80's, and all through the night it cools down to the 50's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 40's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Starr King Lake sink into the 20's. This lake is so wonderful.
