A visit to Star Lakes is always a good idea. Star Lakes is a beautiful lake in the Central Sierra Nevada. Summertime at Star Lakes arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are commonly in the 40's, and overnight lows in the 20's for Star Lakes. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Star Lakes has to offer, you can camp at Little Sandy Campground; don't leave Star Lakes without first going for a hike along the Mono Meadow Trail.
