Star Lake is located in the Northern Sierra Nevada. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Ridge Tahoe, The; close by you hit upon the Charity Valley Trail which is a great hiking trail. If you're here at Star Lake and you like golf, you can have a look at Edgewood Tahoe Golf Course, and the Burnside Lake Trail is a tremendous hiking trail close by. Whohoo, so many       amusing things in one place! The Northern Sierra Nevada is unbeatable! The vista of Freel Peak from Star Lake is picturesque, and High Meadows is right here at Star Lake. If you need a place to stay Tahoe Seasons Resort (Vri) is a great choice, and charming scenery and wonderful skiing is what you get at Kirkwood. A common amount of rain falls here at Star Lake; January is the wettest month with most snow while July is mostly the driest month. This lake                  is so wonderful. This is a brilliant vicinity for folks who like lakes. Lake Christopher is a lake close by, and you can always enjoy a lazy day on the beach at El Dorado Beach. You're most likely into lakes, East Peak Lake is one of those close by, and there are plenty of folks from Gardnerville Ranchos here. No way I can stop, cause I'm havin' a tremendous time here at Star Lake. Camping at Snowshoe Springs Campground is always a brilliant experience. Now, you may believe that's a lot but there's even more exciting things to do here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Gotta ski! Heavenly is a perfect site to do that; going for a hike on the Hawley Grade Trail is always a splendid adventure. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool things at Star Lake. In the event that you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Carson River - East Fork, and camping is available at Kit Carson Campground. High temperatures at Star Lake all through the summer months are in the 70's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 40's.
