The beauty of Star Lake attracts many people from all around. This lake is one of the great places here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. A nice nearby hotel is Ridge Tahoe, The. Star Lake gets a common amount of precipitation; the wettest month of the year is typically January, that's the one that snows the most; the driest month is July.
High temperatures at Star Lake throughout the summer are in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down

| | into the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's, and all through the dark hours in the winter at Star Lake temperatures descend to the 10's. Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting stuff right next door to Star Lake. Golf can be played at Edgewood Tahoe Golf Course; if the weather is perfect, you can go for a hike along the Hawley Grade Trail. Star Lake, and camping at Kit Carson Campground is always a delightful experience.
This place, the Northern Sierra Nevada, has so much outdoors exciting stuff. Heavenly is a glorious local ski area, and after a long day outdoors
Tahoe Seasons Resort (Vri) is a wonderful place to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Charity Valley Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region; you'll meet a lot of people
from Gardnerville Ranchos here. If you came to camp Snowshoe Springs Campground is a perfect place to do that; a pleasant tour to High Meadows is a tremendous way to spend an afternoon.
Everybody close by loves skiing at Kirkwood;
hiking along the Burnside Lake Trail is perfect fun. This lake is so wonderful. Spend the day on the beach at El Dorado Beach since you're here at Star Lake, and get your heart beating on the good whitewater of Carson River - East Fork.
