Stampede Reservoir is always a pleasure to visit. The snow is magnificent at Tahoe Donner, and a glorious place to camp here at Stampede Reservoir is Stampede Campground. This lake is so wonderful. Canyon Four is close to Stampede Reservoir and is undeniably a perfect location to stop by, and don't leave Stampede Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Cottonwood Fisherman Trail. | | is when you get the most rain here while July is commonly the driest month. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Stampede Reservoir, and the overnight is somewhat colder of course, ordinarily in the 40's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Stampede Reservoir are in the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Davies Creek Campground if you're here at Stampede Reservoir, and Stampede Dam is lovely. | |

Stampede Reservoir is one of the lakes here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. All the outdoors enjoyable stuff in the Northern Sierra Nevada will keep you coming back repeatedly. Take a side journey to Davies Creek, and obviously, this
is a wonderful vicinity for people who like lakes, Boca Reservoir is a lake nearby. Dry warm beds await you at Northstar-At-Tahoe; you can go for a hike on the Mount Rose Trail. Yeah, come up here to the Northern Sierra Nevada
for a nice time. After a long day outdoors Best Western Truckee Tahoe Inn is a great spot to spend a night or two; there are good locations to explore along the Mount Rose Trail. Yep, outdoors fun things to do are really abundant
here at Stampede Reservoir. Whitewater paddling is pleasant on Truckee River, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Northstar at Tahoe.
