Spring Valley Reservoir is located in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Lakes are pleasant; Wilson Reservoir is a lake that's close to Spring Valley Reservoir, and from Spring Valley Reservoir you acquire a great vista of Rocky Peak. From a precipitation point of view Spring Valley Reservoir is a quite typical place; the month with most of the rain is January while July is typically the       driest month. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this spot. If you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Kelly Ridge Golf Course is close at hand, and Spring Valley Reservoir is a site with many visitors from Chico. So many cool things to do here in the Northern Sierra Nevada, too magnificent to be true. Why not camp at Goat Ranch Campground while you're here at Spring Valley Reservoir; Spring Valley Gulch is a fine place to go to. Summertime highs                  at Spring Valley Reservoir mostly tend to be in the 90's. Summer night lows descend down to the 60's. During the winter this place gets highs in the 50's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Spring Valley Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. In the event that you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Feather River - North Fork; dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Central. Man, is there a lot of exciting stuff to do in the Northern Sierra Nevada. A short visit to Dutch Pete Spring is always worthwhile, and a spree to Campbell Flat revives the spirit. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is good on Big Kimshew Creek, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always go to close by Littlefield Reservoir.
