Edventure More is a wonderful local campground; of course, this is a glorious vicinity for people who like lakes, Metson Lake is a lake in the neighborhood. Lobos Creek is next to Spreckels Lake and is always a joy to stop at, and you are near Lands End if you're here. You're sure to run into some great folks from San Francisco-Oakland-Fremont       here; nearby you hit upon the Temelpa Trail which is a great hiking trail. And if you're still looking for more outdoors amusing stuff just keep reading. If you're looking for a beach near Spreckels Lake, we recommend China Beach, and there is a nice hiking trail nearby called the Ben Johnson Trail. Huntington Falls is a delightful location to explore while you're at Spreckels Lake; Kirby Cove Campground is a tremendous campground nearby. Since you might be                  in a lake visiting mood you can always stop by nearby Middle Lake, and golf can be played at Harding Park Golf Course. This lake is so wonderful. And if that's not sufficient, there's a load more to do near Spreckels Lake. The Bootjack Trail is a good hiking trail close to Spreckels Lake, and dry warm beds await you at Geary Parkway Motel. This lake is so wonderful. Golden Gate National Recreation Area is a brilliant local destination here at Spreckels Lake, and do set aside some time for Lindley Meadow since you're here at Spreckels Lake. For the duration of the warm months at Spreckels Lake temperatures are typically in the 80's. Summer overnight lows fall down to the 50's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 50's, and all through the dark hours in the wintertime at Spreckels Lake temperatures descend to the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. Seal Rocks Beach is a beach near Spreckels Lake that you can have a look at, and if you need a location to stay Days Inn San Francisco At The Beach is a nice choice.
