This place, the Northern Sierra Nevada, has so much outdoors enjoyable stuff. While you're here at Spicer Meadow Reservoir, you could also pop by beautiful Rhodes Lake, and you can hit the slopes at Bear Valley close by. If you come at the right time of year, Stanislaus River - Middle Fork offers some great whitewater,       and Sapps Meadow is a good location to check out. If you need a spot to stay The Meadow is a tremendous choice; camping is available at Lake Alpine Campground. You'll hit upon a striking lake called Union Reservoir near Spicer Meadow Reservoir; glide down the rapids of Mokelumne River - North Fork in a kayak. There is a delightful hiking trail near Spicer Meadow                  Reservoir called the Pacific Crest Trail - section 13; dry warm beds await you at The Mountain Club.
