Go to Spicer Meadow Reservoir if you want to go to a nice lake. Spicer Meadow Reservoir is right by the Pacific Crest Trail - section 13, and Sapps Meadow is a wonderful location any time of year. This lake is so wonderful. A wonderful place to camp here at Spicer Meadow Reservoir is Stanislaus River Campground; Spicer Meadow Reservoir is not far at all from Phoenix Lake-Cedar Ridge. Much precipitation falls at Spicer Meadow Reservoir; January is the wettest month

| | with most snow while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. Do have a look at Union Reservoir near Spicer Meadow Reservoir, it's a gorgeous lake; the skiing at Dodge Ridge is magnificent. Summer brings highs in the 60's to Spicer Meadow Reservoir, and during the night it cools down to the 40's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 30's, and overnight lows at Spicer Meadow Reservoir throughout | |

the winter frequently sink into the 10's. Now, you may feel that's heaps but there's even more exciting stuff to do here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Rhodes Lake is a nearby lake that you could check out, and why not camp at Lake
Alpine Campground since you're here at Spicer Meadow Reservoir. Whohoo, so many enjoyable things in one place! The Northern Sierra Nevada is unbeatable! The Emigrant Trail offers hiking at its best, and if you come at the right
time of year, Mokelumne River - North Fork offers some great whitewater. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this site. A day on the slopes of Bear Valley is just what you need; whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's
for you then, we recommend Stanislaus River - Middle Fork. There's some flowing water close by, Hobart Creek is a stream you can take a look at during your stay, and do take a hike on the Charity Valley Trail. Spicer Meadow Reservoir is located in the Northern Sierra Nevada.
