If you are traveling by, why not stop by South Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at South Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Trailer Rancho is a perfect spot for that, and Alameda Creek has a wonderful whitewater paddling spot nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Crow Canyon is close to South Reservoir and is a nice spot; dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express Castro Valley, Ca.

| | tour? Golden Gate National Recreation Area is rather close to South Reservoir, and San Francisco/Hayward Downtown Super 8 Motel is a nice spot to get some rest. Summer at South Reservoir arrives with high temperatures in the 70's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 50's. During your spree to South Reservoir you'll meet some folks from San Francisco-Oakland-Fremont for sure, and hey, Crow Creek is a wonderful local stream. Since you might
be in a lake visiting mood you can always go to nearby Lake Chabot, and golf can be played at Skywest Public Golf Course. Not much rain falls here at South Reservoir; the wettest month of the year is regularly January, that's the
one that rains the most, and the driest of the months is July.
All the outdoors entertaining things in the neighborhood of South Reservoir will keep you coming back over and over. This is a glorious region for folks who like lakes. Cull Canyon Lake is a lake nearby, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Trappers Trail.
