Go to Sourgrass Lake if you want to go to a nice lake. This lake is so wonderful. A glorious close by hotel is Best Western Sonora Oaks, and Sierra Campground is a delightful local campground. Sourgrass Lake typically gets a great deal of rain; of all the months in a year January is the one with the most rain; July is the month with the least moisture. Here at Sourgrass Lake there are plenty of people from Phoenix Lake-Cedar Ridge; hiking along the Emigrant

This spot is great, just look at all the amusing stuff to do next to Sourgrass Lake. There's some flowing water close by, Chinaman Creek is a stream you can go to while here; you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Dodge Ridge while you're here. on Stanislaus River - North Fork; you don’t have to go far from Sourgrass Lake to distinguish the water at Afterbay Dam. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Sand Bar Flat Campground since you're here at Sourgrass Lake.
For the duration of the summertime months at Sourgrass Lake temperatures are commonly in the 80's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's typically in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 50's with temperatures at Sourgrass
Lake dipping down into the 30's all through winter nights. Sourgrass Lake is located in the Central Sierra Nevada. That right there is a heap of amusing stuff already but it goes on, the Central Sierra Nevada has it all. You have
to certainly dedicate some time to Dry Meadow while you're here at Sourgrass Lake, and you can never get enough of the fine skiing at Bear Valley.
A fine spot for whitewater paddling close to Sourgrass Lake is Stanislaus River - South Fork, and Beardsley Lake is a nearby lake that you could take a look at.
