Summertime at Soto Lake comes with high temperatures in the 90's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 60's. If you need a site to stay Holiday Inn Express Hotel       & Suites Corning is a nice choice, and Soto Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Woodson Bridge State Recreation Area is a great local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Hazel Bend is an exciting place to have a look at while at Soto Lake. There's so much to do here at Soto Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Woodson Bridge RV Park is a nice place for that. The fine people of Red Bluff like to hang out nearby; as expected Hoag                  Slough flows through this area. A delightful nearby hotel is Corning-Days Inn, and there's whitewater on Antelope Creek for all you adrenaline junkies.
