The beauty of Sotcher Lake is reason enough to stop by. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Central Sierra Nevada. Good hiking is available along the John Muir Trail - section 2. Sotcher Lake is a good location to visit for more than one day, Reds Meadow Campground is a good location to camp nearby, and you must absolutely visit The Buttresses while you're here. This lake is so wonderful. You might want to pay a visit to Snow Canyon since you're here at Sotcher

Sotcher Lake, it completely has so much outdoors cool stuff. Snowbird Condos at Mammoths Canyon Lodge is a delightful place to get some rest, and if you come at the right time of year, San Joaquin River - Middle Fork offers some wonderful
whitewater. There are perfect places to discover along the Mammoth Rock Trail, and a quick visit to Boundary Creek is positively a nice idea. But wait, there's more cool things to do in the Central Sierra Nevada. Dry warm beds
await you at 1849 Condos at Mammoths Canyon Lodge. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Sotcher Lake has to offer, you can camp at Minaret Falls Campground. This lake is so wonderful. Minaret Falls is a great local attraction,
and don’t forget to go to Pumice Flat if you're here at Sotcher Lake. But wait, there's more to do next to Sotcher Lake. There are other places here than Sotcher Lake, for example Johnston Lake, and don't leave Sotcher Lake without
first going for a hike along the Sherwin Lakes Trail. During the warm months here at Sotcher Lake, high temperatures mostly get into the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 50's. Highs during the winter
are usually in the 40's while Sotcher Lake overnight low temperatures all through the wintertime are in the 20's.
