Have a magnificent hiking adventure along the Garden Gulch Trail; Green Granite Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop by. There are some wonderful whitewater spots on Elk Creek, and you can stay the night at Sulphur Springs Campground. This place, the Klamath Mountains, has so much outdoors entertaining stuff. Do take a look at Tickner Lake near Snyder Lake, it's a delightful lake, and a pleasant visit to Granite Meadow is a       pleasant way to spend an afternoon. All the water falling down from the sky makes Snyder Lake a wet place; most of the rain falls through December, and the driest month of the year is July. This lake is one of the great places here in the Klamath Mountains. That right there is lots already, but it carries on; Snyder Lake has it all. While you're here at Snyder Lake you can take a hike along the Boundary National Recreation Trail, and get yourself into a                  kayak and hit Wooley Creek. Oregon Caves National Monument is a delightful national park. There's so much to do here at Snyder Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Pick-aw-Ish Campground is a splendid place for that. The warmest time of the year at Snyder Lake comes with high temperatures in the 90's, and the nighttime is a bit colder of course, regularly in the 50's. During the winter this place gets highs in the 40's while Snyder Lake overnight low temperatures all through the winter are in the 30's.
