Snowslide Lake is a lake worth visiting. And if that's not enough there's a load more enjoyable things to do in the Klamath Mountains. Take a hike on the Deacon Lee Trail, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Coffee Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Have a good hiking adventure along the Tanners Peak Trail, and get wet paddling on Salmon River - South Fork. There's so much to do here at Snowslide Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Big Flat Campground

nice sites to go to and Whiskeytown National Recreation Area is no exception. A normal amount of rainfall falls here at Snowslide Lake; the month with most of the rain is December, and July on the other hand is the driest. High
temperatures at Snowslide Lake through the warm months are in the 80's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 40's. Throughout the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's with temperatures at Snowslide Lake dipping down into the 20's all through winter nights.
