So many cool things in the Northern Sierra Nevada, just impressive. White Pines Lake is a great lake near Snowshoe Lake, and Snowshoe Lake is near Squaw Hollow which is without doubt worth a visit. Snowshoe Lake usually gets a good deal of rain; January is when you get the most rain here while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. For the duration of the months       of summer highs here at Snowshoe Lake get into the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 50's. High temperatures all through the winter are normally in the 40's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Snowshoe Lake. North Grove is a pleasant local forest, and Snowshoe Lake is right by the Emigrant Trail. This lake is so wonderful. A short visit to Cold Spring is always worthwhile, and in case you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Stanislaus River - North Fork. This lake is so wonderful.
