Skiing at Sierra at Tahoe is one of those things you just have to do, and Silver Creek - South Fork is a pleasant whitewater spot close by. Snow Lake is not far at all from Gardnerville Ranchos; don't leave Snow Lake without first going for a hike along the Pacific Crest Trail - section 14. Having a glorious time at Snow Lake is trouble-free. Really glorious skiing awaits you at Homewood,       and if you're a golfer then a great nearby course is Tahoe Paradise Golf Course. There are great locations to discover along the General Creek Trail. Lakes? Sure, Azure Lake is in the neighborhood. This lake is so wonderful. Snow Lake is a nice place to visit for more than one day, Eagle Falls Campground is a nice place to camp nearby, and a day at Calawee Cove Beach is time well spent. Snow Lake is located in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Throughout the                  days of summer here at Snow Lake, high temperatures generally reach the 70's with nighttime lows in the 40's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 40's; overnight lows in the 10's for Snow Lake. All the outdoors fun stuff in the neighborhood of Snow Lake will keep you coming back many times. A visit to Eagle Falls will fill your spirit with magnificent feelings, and you can run the rapids of American River - South Fork. Good hiking is available along the Hawley Grade Trail; Bayview Campground is a glorious local campground. All year is a brilliant time in the Northern Sierra Nevada if you like the outdoors. You might want to pay a visit to Dicks Pass if you're here at Snow Lake; beaches are great and Baldwin Beach is no exception. This lake is so wonderful. Here at Snow Lake you can make out Inspiration Point, and dry warm beds await you at Pistantes Coyote Den. This lake is so wonderful. So many enjoyable things in the Northern Sierra Nevada, just phenomenal. Not far from Snow Lake, you'll stumble on Tallac Lake which is a lovely lake; Pine Cone Acre Motel is a delightful location to get some rest.
