If you are in this part of California make sure to pay a visit to Snake Lake. But wait, there's more amusing things to do in the Klamath Mountains. Snake Lake is magnificent enough to spend more than a day at, Fort Goff Campground is a magnificent local campground, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Klamath River. | | Lake, and you'll meet a lot of folks from Grants Pass here. This lake is so wonderful. There is a perfect hiking trail in close proximity to Snake Lake called the Low Gap Trail. Snake Lake is a wet place that gets a great deal of precipitation; the month of December is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest of the months is July. there are some brilliant whitewater spots on Indian Creek Klamath Tributary. A great spot to camp here at Snake Lake is Cook and Green Campground; you could always look at Sweaty Gulch. You completely should adore Snake Lake.
On a good day at Snake Lake you can take a hike along the Boundary National Recreation Trail, and at Snake Lake you can spot Buck Peak. Snake Lake is not the only spot close by, Azalea Lake is a close by lake, and going for a hike
on the Horse Camp Trail is always a magnificent adventure. This lake is located in the wonderful Klamath Mountains. All through the warmest time of the year at Snake Lake temperatures are usually in the 80's, and all through the
night it cools down to the 40's. Throughout the winter the highs are frequently in the 40's while Snake Lake nighttime low temperatures throughout the wintertime are in the 30's.
