This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Snake Lake that you need

to camp here for a while, Cook and Green Campground is a great place for that, and if you yearn for a little side tour, try Sweaty Gulch. Going for a hike on the Horse Camp Trail is always a splendid adventure, and if you come at the right time of year, Klamath River offers some good whitewater. No way I can stop, cause I'm havin' a great time here at Snake Lake. Float down the rapids of Indian Creek Klamath Tributary in a kayak, and there is a good hiking
trail nearby called the Low Gap Trail.
So many fun things to do here in the Klamath Mountains, too good to be true. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Snake Lake has to offer, you can camp at Fort Goff Campground, and a brilliant sight of charming Buck Peak is available. Don’t forget to go to Cedar Basin while you're here at Snake Lake, and on a great day you can take a hike along the Boundary National Recreation Trail.
