    If you like lakes and you're in this part of California you can check out Snake Lake. Snake Lake is located in the Northern Sierra Nevada. If you want a glorious time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Northern Sierra Nevada. Indian Creek Feather Tributary is a wonderful whitewater spot near Snake Lake, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Cleghorn Bar Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Some close by water includes Rock Creek, and Snake Lake is  
   right by the Finger Board Trail.
These mountains rock, just check out all the entertaining things to do in the Northern Sierra Nevada. If you need a spot to stay Best Western Rose Quartz is a splendid choice. Evergreen Motel and Trailer Park is a great campground nearby, and in the event that you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Feather River - Middle Fork. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Snake Lake; Claremont
 
               Trail is a brilliant local trail, and an out of the ordinary thing to pop by in the vicinity of Snake Lake is Smith Lake Dam.
Snake Lake gets a normal amount of rainfall; January is when you get the most snow here while July is typically the driest month. High temperatures at Snake Lake through the days of summer are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 40's. Highs during the winter are typically in the 30's, and night lows at Snake Lake during the wintertime frequently descend into the 20's. If you want a glorious time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Snake Lake. A spree to Snake Lake Valley is always fun; if you came for an overnight stay River Ranch RV Park is a fine spot to camp.
