    In California there are many beautiful lakes, Snake Lake is one of them. So many cool things in the vicinity of Snake Lake, truly astonishing. Stay the night at Evergreen Motel and Trailer Park, and a scenic lake like Smith Lake is a pleasant place to take a look at. Snake Lake gets a typical amount of rainfall; most of the snow falls during January, and the driest month is July. This lake is so wonderful. Snake Lake Valley is a delightful location to spend  
   some time at.
Now, you may assume that's a lot but there's even more exciting things to do here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. There's great hiking along the Claremont Trail; swing by Rock Creek it's a good site to stop at. Snake Lake is a beautiful lake in the Northern Sierra Nevada. And if that's not enough there's lots more entertaining stuff to do in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Paddling on Feather River - Middle Fork is so much fun, and the Cleghorn Bar
 
               Trail offers hiking at its best.
This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is delightful on Indian Creek Feather Tributary, and you'll stumble on a beautiful lake called Dean Valley Reservoir. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Finger Board Trail, and an interesting thing to visit in the vicinity of Snake Lake is Smith Lake Dam. The warmest time of the year at Snake Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's while nighttime lows are frequently in the 40's. Highs during the wintertime are commonly in the 30's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Snake Lake sink into the 20's.
Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Rose Quartz; Snake Lake is a splendid spot to visit for more than one day, River Ranch RV Park is a splendid spot to camp nearby.

Cool Springs Campground is owned by PG&E and managed by American Land and Leisure (AL&L). You may contact AL&L, at 530-284-1785, from May to October. No reservations are taken for camping. Cool Springs is generally open from early May through mid-September. The heaviest use is between mid-June through mid-August. Butt Lake is a great fishing lake. Motorboats are allowed but no skiing or jet skis. There is a nice rock\sand beach for playing....
