Just can't get enough of Smith Lake. Smith Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Ripstein Campground is a good local campground, and Little Granite Peak is easy to spot from Smith Lake. Camping at Big Flat Campground is always a nice experience, and Canyon Creek is a glorious whitewater spot close by. Smith Lake is a beautiful lake in the Klamath Mountains. | | Recreation Area is a great place next to Smith Lake; in the event that you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Trinity River - North Fork. So many entertaining things in the Klamath Mountains, just tremendous. Upper Canyon Creek Meadows is a great site to check out; Stonehouse Gulch is in the neighborhood, and is a great spot.
