A visit to Smith Lake is always a good idea. Smith Lake is a beautiful lake in the Northern Sierra Nevada. And that's not all you can do here at Smith Lake. Smith Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Pyramid Campground is a great local campground, and do take a hike on the Highland Trail. Camping at Thirty-nine Mile Campground is always a good experience, and from Smith Lake you acquire a nice panorama of Blue Mountain.

Summertime at Smith Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 70's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 40's. Highs throughout the wintertime are usually in the 40's, and overnight lows
in the 10's for Smith Lake. This lake is so wonderful. You could also stop by Twin Lakes while you're here at Smith Lake; it's close by, and lovely scenery and wonderful skiing is what you get at Homewood. After a long day outdoors
Harvest Inn-St Helena, Napa Valley is a great spot to spend a night or two, and get your heart beating on the great whitewater of American River - South Fork.
This lake is so wonderful. You can run the rapids of Silver Creek - South Fork near Smith Lake, and Smith Lake is right by the Red Peak Trail.
