This lake is so wonderful. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Homewood if you're here; unsurprisingly, this is a brilliant neighborhood for folks who like lakes, Hemlock Lake is a lake in the vicinity. So many amusing things to do at Smith Lake, so little time. Lakes are glorious; Twin Lakes is a lake that's right next door to Smith Lake, and why not camp at Pyramid Campground while you're       here at Smith Lake. In the event that you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on American River - South Fork; charming scenery and tremendous skiing is what you obtain at Sierra at Tahoe. Smith Lake is a good location of normal rainfall; of all the months in a year January is the one with the most snow while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Now, you may imagine that's a load but there's even                  more amusing things to do here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Whitewater paddling is glorious on Silver Creek - South Fork, and Thirty-nine Mile Campground is a wonderful local campground. This lake is located in the wonderful Northern Sierra Nevada. Whohoo, so much amusing stuff in one place! The Northern Sierra Nevada is great! Why not take a refreshing hike along the Windmiller Trail, and a wonderful close by hotel is Harvest Inn-St Helena, Napa Valley. Summertime at Smith Lake comes with high temperatures in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Smith Lake drop into the 10's. Smith Lake is right by the Red Peak Trail; the summit of Blue Mountain can be seen from Smith Lake. This lake is so wonderful.
