Life's too short to enjoy all the enjoyable stuff in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Lewis Flat is right here at Sly Creek Reservoir, and why not camp at Sly Creek Campground while you're here at Sly Creek Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. Strawberry Campground is a good local campground, and Eagle Gulch is in the vicinity, and is a nice location. Sly Creek Reservoir is a quite wet place mostly with a great deal       of rain; January is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest of the months is July. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are such calm spots, why not go to Lost Creek Reservoir near Sly Creek Reservoir; why not a little side journey to Kentucky Creek. All through the warm months highs here at Sly Creek Reservoir reach the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. For the period of the wintertime highs are commonly in the 40's while the cold                  winter nights at Sly Creek Reservoir are in the 20's. So much cool stuff to do here at Sly Creek Reservoir, too splendid to be true. Barton Hill is a peak you can make out from Sly Creek Reservoir; there are some brilliant whitewater spots on Feather River - Middle Fork. Near Sly Creek Reservoir you locate the South Yuba Trail which is a great hiking trail, and a good close by hotel is Nevada City Inn. All year is a good time in the Northern Sierra Nevada if you love the outdoors. On a wonderful day at Sly Creek Reservoir you can take a hike along the Halls Ranch Trail, and you'll stumble on a beautiful lake called Slate Creek Reservoir. Piety Hill Cottages is a nice spot to get some rest. This lake is one of the great places here in the Northern Sierra Nevada.
